We are proud to announce the launch of a new Reading and Seminar group within the History Department at the University of Warwick. Our aim is to provide a forum for discussion and debate of queer research for scholars and students both within and without the LGBT+ community. We welcome participation from all members of the university community, from undergraduate students right through to full-time academic staff.
To see a list of upcoming events, look on the ‘Events’ page. In the short-term, we shall hold reading groups during term time, but the long-term ambition is to expand into seminars and talks, social events, film screenings etc.. Our first event, a reading group entitled ‘Queering the Archive: Archiving the Queer’ will be held on 6th June at 1pm – it would be great to see as many people there as possible!
